Daily Tutorials

Grades 7- high school can attend for just tutoring

Students will study pirates in both their real and fictional lives as well as sea lore  in this  weeklong fun camp.  Kids age 6-14 have a  chance to read and share stories.  Kids will have guided reading groups, read - aloud sessions and a book walk. Literacy activities in the afternoon. The afternoon wraps up with a vocabulary bingo session and popsicles.

We use Orton Gillingham to help children  improve their reading and spelling. At Sunglow we also work to help children improve their reading fluency and comprehension skills. We also work on writing using sentence building through Project Read: Framing Your Thoughts and help children to write constructive responses to literature.
