Grant Writing
Meet with Sunglow Literacy Consulting about Grant writing
Free one and a half hour consultation on grant needs for non profits and schools working in the areas of literacy
If the organization, nonprofit, or school receives the grant then Sunglow is hired to help implement the grant proposal. Typically, this can include but is not limited to support for teachers in curriculum planning, implementation, ordering resources, keeping track of grant expenses, professional development based on the grant, and consultation.
Sunglow has a particular skill in developing curriculum and grant proposals to improve literacy among students K-12
At Sunglow we believe in finding ways to help children learn through a variety of modalities, motivating curriculum that is based on standards in education, and an alternative curriculum that help students with attention challenges succeed. | |

Grant Writing Consultation
Meet with Sunglow Literacy Consulting or mail ideas for grant proposals, needs of organization or school, demographics, mission statement of organization or nonprofit, test results from NECAPS, other formal statewide testing, discuss need for grants in organization or school
Discuss types of grants that might be helpful- state and federal
Sunglow writes up to three grants for school or organization with written understanding that if grant is accepted Sunglow will be hired for some services written into the grant involving professional or curriculum development and consultation.
Supports grant implementation as indicated by grant proposal. Follows up with grant with organization or school.
